ACORDES Y LETRAS

The Logical Song

[Am]When I was young, it seemed that [F]lilfe was so [E]wonderful,

a [G]miracle, oh it was [F]beautiful, [F#dim]magical.

And all the [Am]birds in the trees, well they'd be [F]singing so [E]happily,

oh, [G]joyfully, oh, [F]playfully, [F#dim]watching me.

But then they sent me away, to teach me how to be sensible,

logical oh, responsible practical.

And they showed me a world where I could be so dependable,

oh, clinical, oh, intellectual, cynical.

Chorus

There are [C]times when all the world's as[C6]leep,

the questions run too [F]deep for such a simple man[Bb]        [Dm]          [Gm]             [Dm]

Won't you [C]please, please tell me what we've [C6]learned?

I know it sounds ab[F]surd. Please tell me who I am.[Bb]        [Dm]          [Gm]             [Dm]

I said, now watch what you say or they'll be calling you a radical,

a liberal, oh fanatical, criminal.

Oh, won't you sign up your name, we'd like to feel you're acceptable,

respectable, oh, presentable, a vegetable!

At night, when all the world's asleep...

[F]Please tell me who I am,[Bb]        [Dm]          [Gm]             [Dm]who I am,[Bb]        [Dm]          [Gm]             [Dm]

who I am,[Bb]        [Dm]          [Gm]             [Dm]who I am,[Bb]        [Dm]          [Gm]             [Dm]

[A7]       [Dm]        [C6]         [A7]        [Dm]       [C6]         [F]

Escuela
Puedo verte por la mañana
Cuando vas a la escuela
No olvides nuestros libros,
Tal vez estoy confundido

Could we have kippers for breakfast
Mummy dear, Mummy dear
They got to have ´em in Texas
Cos everyone's a millionaire

I´m a winner, I´m a sinner
Do you want my autograph
I´m a loser what a joker
I´m playing my jokes upon you
While there´s nothing better to do

Don´t you look at my girlfriend
She´s the only one I got
Not much of a girlfriend
Never seem to get a lot

Take a jumbo across the water
Like to see America
See the girls in California
I´m hoping it´s going to come true
But there´s not a lot I can do.

DESAYUNO EN AMÉRICA

Mira a mi novia,

ella es la única que conseguí

No es una verdadera novia,

nunca parezco conseguir mucho

Tomo un Jumbo, a través del agua,

me gusta ver América,

ver a las chicas en California,

espero que esto vaya a realizarse,

pero no hay mucho que pueda hacer

Podríamos tomar arenques ahumados para el desayuno

Querida mamá, Ellos consiguieron tomarlos en Texas

porque todo el mundo es millonario

soy un ganador, soy un pecador

quieren mi dedicatoria

soy un perdedor, qué bromista!

hago mis bromas sobre ti

Mientras no haya nada mejor que hacer

no mires a mi novia,

ella es la única que conseguí

No es una verdadera novia,

nunca parezco conseguir mucho

Tomo un Jumbo, a través del agua,

me gusta ver América,
