PINK FLOYD

HISTORIA

Grupo de psicodelia, rock progresivo y rock espacial electrónico formado en Londres (Inglaterra) en 1965 por Syd Barrett (guitarra y compositor del material inicial), Roger Waters (bajo), Rick Wright (teclados) y Nick Mason (batería). El nombre de Pink Floyd  se debe a 2 antiguos bluesmen: Pink Anderson y Floyd Council. En 1968 Syd Barrett abandona el grupo debido a su inestabilidad mental. Bajo su liderazgo sólo grabaron el 1er LP, posteriormente el estilo del grupo cambia radicalmente. Ese mismo año el guitarrista Dave Gilmour, amigo de la banda, se une al grupo. En 1986 Roger Waters abandona el grupo.
