SANTANA

HISTORIA

Carlos Santana nace el 20 de julio de 1947 en Autlan de Navarro (México). Se trasladó a San Francisco en los 60. En 1966 formó la Santana Blues Band con el teclista y cantante Gregg Rolie. Santana ha cambiado de músicos frecuentemente. Su primera line-up fue: David Brown  (bajo), Mike Carabello (conga), Bob Livingston (batería), Marcus Malone (percusión). Debutaron el 16 de junio de 1968 en el teatro Fillmore West. El 15 de agosto de 1969 participaron en el Festival de Woodstock
