HISTORIA

Banda de rock underground formada en Nueva York en 1981 por Thurston Moore (guitarra y voz), Lee Ranaldo (guitarra y voz), Kim Gordon (bajo, guitarra y voz), Steve Shelley (batería) y Mark Ibold (bajo y guitarra, desde 2006). Con influencias del movimiento artístico No Wave, fueron los pioneros de la escena Noise Rock, que influyó decisivamente en el rock alternativo de los 90.
Anne DeMarinis (teclados) y Richard Edson (batería) fueron miembros fundadores de la banda.
